What began in 2000 as a one-off event in the Amsterdam ArenA, grew out to an international phenomenon. Sensation has toured more than 35 countries and welcomed over two million visitors worldwide. With the iconic all-white dress code and yearly renewed themes, Sensation lives up to its name.
The Sensation concept has won awards for 'Best Event of the Year' in countries such as the Netherlands, Germany, Australia, Brazil, andDenmark. Sensation is all about the experience, spectacular show elements, dazzlingperformances, a star-studded lineup of the most talented international DJs, andmassive Production.
Having ended premiering their shows in Amsterdam in 2017 with 'The Final,' Sensation continues to travel to globe to unite thousands of people from all walks of life. After throwing events in the Netherlands since 1992, the founders of ID&T hadtheir eyes on the Amsterdam ArenA (now known as Johan Cruijff ArenA) as soon as the building plans were presented. As organizing an event in a soccer stadium was unprecedented, the industry thought ID&T had gone mad. However, the event turned out to be a huge success and the rest is history.
