In 2005, ID&T joined forces with the Belgium brothers Michiel and Manu Beers to launch Tomorrowland in Boom, Belgium. The brothers and their local team are the driving forces that made the event the world’s largest and most notable electronic music festival.
Tomorrowland is a fairy tale world situated in beautiful natural surroundings with a massive lineup of international music talents. Annually, the festival welcomes 180,000 visitors from more than 100 countries for a full weekend of madness with four-days of DreamVille camping. With a strong eye for detail and extras such as an enchanting decor, fascinating acts, and peripheral animations, cozy cocktail bars, summery beaches, and spectacular fireworks; there is nothing quite like the Tomorrowland experience.
With the increased interest in dance music globally, Tomorrowland has kept pace by adding Tomorrowland Brazil and TomorrowWorld in the United States. Demonstrating incredible growth, the 2017 edition of Tomorrowland in Belgium will feature two weekends of programming for the second time in history, doubling its capacity of 180,000 visitors. Despite the extension this year, the 360,000 tickets were sold out with an hour. In addition to the fans attending the show in Boom, live ‘Unite’ broadcasts will take place from stadiums in six countries around the world such as Germany, India, and Colombia. Fans who attend these live broadcasts are treated to their own unique experience including live performances and production, and many more exclusive surprises.
